    New Brake setup

Discs don’t really matter tbh, so that makes your choice very simple

    New Brake setup

So after reading some threads and also talking to people locally. I feel my rotor options are: Tarox F2000 or DBA T3 Pad option: Ferodo ds2500 Also open to any new recommendations of setups people are running. Hard Road use but also use for commuting once a week. Performance from setup needs to suit both scenarios. Please can I have some help with this. I currently Tarox G88 rotors and Tarox strada pads (not a great experience) Cheers Jay
  7. It looked great initially but it did become dull and yellowed again within a year - looking back on it - it would've been easier to sand it back and then spray some 2K clear coat on it - I ended up subbing them out anyway for the sleeker look of the DEPOs and to get rid of the orange reflector stripe - hoping to do something a bit more custom in the future
  8. Yes sir for Nismo thats what its meant to be. or seen a few normal Zeds around 40k used and near new with hardly any miles on Exporter sites. In Japan used cars sitting at £33k and ST under 40k. Just customs eh. Few nice ones wish we had Russian rules. No VAT, No duties lol Doesn't matter though, these guys will have no choice but to lower prices the longer they sit there as more flood the market. It seems not many people are busting a gut to own one in Japan. A few coming up for sale in both US and Japan.

  11. Haven’t checked yet although weirdly it seems to be a lot better when on a full tank of fuel?
  12. Dont know about changing it but I tried washing the whole length with soapy water and made a big difference (positive!)....
  13. Are these easy enough to change without removing the whole seat? Mine has got to the point where it needs a couple of pushes to get it to release. Thanks😎.
  14. Obviously Not… The old 1 I’m taking of and using as template and getting made at fabricator's, Which still works out cheaper than the genuine W Brace
  15. Florida? Smoking hot rocks. At $65,000 its still a stretch. Its going in Japan for more. 15 to 17 GTR can be got in UK for that. Crazy market. Markups need to be outlawed.
  16. $99K for a Nismo ......ummm no thanks. https://www.carscoops.com/2024/06/nissan-dealer-thinks-its-2021-slaps-20k-markup-on-z-nismo/
  17. Wish i could attend. Was great last time. Good opportunity to "network". Other cars do turn up as well. Great timing before the drizzle and overcast
  18. Thanks Alex, I will wait to hear from the garage then. They will come back to me with cost etc
  19. I have a bucket seat on a set of fixed side brackets bolted directly to the floor to get the seat as low as possible, then a 60mm steering wheel spacer and that perfect for me at 6'5 and still have more than enough head room for a helmet

  21. Me and pal are booked up for this next month if anyone is up for a go. https://trackobsession.co.uk/product/donington-park-evening-track-day-18-07-2024/
  22. Braided lines help in 2 ways one is brake feel the other is heat resistance so they will make a difference which you may or may not feel, they can be a pain to do as unions may not undo as well as they used to. I bought a second set of pads for my 370z two years ago. They are still in the box
  23. Yeah fair enough probably will just start with pads then and see how that goes. Think I’ll definitely get the ds2500 pads. Would you bother swapping the pads out for another set for Road use or is that over the top? I occasionally daily the car but am lucky enough to have a van for the daily most of the time. Do you run braided lines too or are there any other brake mods you’d recommend? Just seen your video btw 👌🏼
  24. Just been looking at the AD09s on a few review pages and they seem like the best option for me for what I need it for plus they’re slightly cheaper too. I have researched about square setups a bit and seem to get mixed opinions on it but seems like it helps with any understeer. might be a silly question but does it affect the appearance much? Not sure if the fronts will stick out much or is it not noticeable? (Not that I’m really bothered just curious) bear in mind it’s still got stock suspension but I will be looking at changing for coilovers and adjustable arms in the winter anyway. Would you still slightly stagger the tyres on a square setup? Looks like you have to go for at least 245 on the front for an 18inch on demon tweets to unless I’m mistaken.
