  10. Why reading this I am in a Yoda accent?
  11. Thanks bud, expect some silly questions soon haha ADAm
  12. Looks like it’s only an angle wheel Sim. Not a pair.
  13. Hi and welcome along buddy. Good luck with your project.
  14. Howdee folk! How's it all going? My name is Adam, i am an old volvo fanatic and i am currently doing a little youtube documentary/series about my ole volvo 242 that has seen it's first daylight rays in may of 1981.... Now... You might think, how a volvo 242 is in any way related to the nissan 350z? Oh, here it goes... My plan is to implement the whole rear running gear of a 350z into my 242, where the solid axle originally was. So there we go, now you know. I have a youtube channel called Boosted242, same as my user name here, and have some videos of the previous shenanigans that happened with the car. Please have a looksie if you want to do so. https://www.youtube.com/@boosted242 I am hoping to learn alot about all the 350z bits and make it all happen and maybe, if all goes well, post it all here whenever it's being done. Cheers!
  15. is this only pair or rear you have? no front?
  16. hey mate, is this still available ?
  17. Well it's been a while and the project took a turn the engine did go back in but then a rotrex equipped car became available so I bought it and returned it to standard and removed and sold the stillen kit I then fitted the rotrex kit to my car The end result looks much better and the kit is much nicer under the bonnet and with the built engine the car feels so much Keener it rips to the redline it's actually pretty frightening to drive now when you keep your foot in. At 14psi it made 540 and 585 at 18psi but couldn't push as fuel pressure was dropping out I've since discovered a split fuel hose so hopefully that's sorted now Anyway a couple of pictures
  18. I remember my dad looking at them back in 1993/94. He'd been chatting to Nissan Midhurst but then I got sent to a private school so that idea went out of the window.
  19. I looked at an R34 GTR back in 2000 in Bedford. I know the time and place because I'd just met my wife. At the time I was working in the US so it didn't make sense. Don't recall the price but sure it was going for peanuts. If only... but then again if I'd kept every car I've owned I'd have a garage worth a million bucks.
  20. Hi Alex, Thanks for the reply, Ill get some images up after the xmas period when I get back to the car. Thanks Again! Kieran.
  21. A lot of litres required. I wanted to do it on mine garages were quoting £500 on its own due to the cost of the fluid. In US some people are excessive they drain, refill, drive it, drain and refill again. I think drain and refill is enough even though all the oil doesnt drain out. Itll be dominated by new oil and the newer magnets will get any metallic shavings left in the gearbox. Keith has the right idea. Im sure hed do it for half the 500 hehe.
  22. R34 GTR. Big regret not buying one in 2010 when it was still reasonably priced. Then I'd have needed storage with all the thievery going on for niche vehicles.
  23. Post up some images of the corrosion areas. I have 4 bodyshells in stock, so may be able to help.
  24. Nope
  25. Did you read the other thread on this?
  26. Massive failure at the MOT center a few days ago. Been weighing up scrapping or parting the car but its too near and dear to me. Been quoted astronomical amounts of money for fabrication and welding, just putting some feelers out to see if anyone has any decent panels available they'd be willing to sell me in order to save the car from the parts graveyard. Until very recently when this car was quite abruptly given to me and my brother after being left for quite some time with not as much as an oil change. Having lost my job I've made this a sort of an ongoing project neither of us were quite prepared for but over the last few months we've managed to get it running and the sense of achievement is just so wonderful and now it feels quite soured down. People might suggest its not worth the cost, but the car has pretty significant sentimental value, its a labor of love but if we can afford to do it we're going to try! Car is in storage currently while we weigh up costing and repair timelines. Any advice or help is very much appreciated. Edit - First post on here!, Hello all! Merry XMAS!
  27. I followed the link above posted by Nathan is that not the Zociety stand?
