The war on crust continues: Treated the car to a new rear pin stay. I'd never had these nuts off the subframe before. And I've heard of horror stories of them snapping the captive threaded stud. So I made sure to wire bush them. Even went as far as buying a tap to sort the threads. However I realised I dont have a 26mm socket. So could only do them a little. Bit of wd40. The breaker bar and the impact and they came off surprisingly well. A little bit of jiggery pokery to untangle and remove the old one and the shiny new one is on. Happy days.

The last weekend of the 2026 season A trip to Anglesey is always a highlight for me and 2 new PBs this week. what a fantastic year its been. The Zed has been better than ever this year. Its even got some Classic Marques competitors interest peaked and looking to buy one due to how its performed.

Aye its just another piece that doesnt do that much except rust. Same as the fuel tank shield above the kidney brackets. Its just there to rust and fall off. This one does protect the fuel evaporator a little tho at least.

Sounds like the amp gain is getting a full pre-out signal, not much range left for the head unit to work with. Factory Avril is a proper warning label though :D
