  2. At that price point the best ones ive experianced are the Miester Rs.
  3. Today
  4. I'm looking forward to it. Jazz makes for a great daily driver but lacks just a bit of power 😅 Question for those reading. I want to change over to coilovers soon. I'm running a Bilstien pro kit at the moment (fixed dampers and springs) but the front is way too low. The wheels are nearly in the liners. Not sure if it's sagged over the years but it's not great. Plus as it is, once the front splitter goes back on, I won't get it on my drive. So I know everyone goes for BC's but any thoughts on the Tein Flex Z's? Car will just be fast road use. I have no plans to take it on track etc. Both have damping adjustment which is great, so just wondering on peoples thoughts before I spend the money.
  5. Has anyone fitted these aftermarket tail lights from AliExpress and had any issues passing an MOT? Pair LED Taillights For Nissan 370Z Z34 2009-2020 Nismo Taillamp Rear Lamp Brake Turn Signal Tail Sequential Fog Reverse Light - AliExpress
  6. I remember Adrian Flux calling me regarding the 350Z in 2014 The quote given was way too high. I went with an Irish company who gave it for 1200 pounds. Well im seeing new M2 for 60 on Autotrader assuming the order would be £65,000. Nissan want to sell the Nismo for the same price apparently. The new M2 will be Xdrive and will probably be similarly priced £65000. An appropriate price for the Z GT new would be around £45,000 and Nismo £55,000. The Z sport is a base model should be £39,000. If rumors are true about current imports from Japan occasionally having discounted duties or HMRC discretion. Figures are based on what a brand new GT (ST) cost in Japan of around £37,000. Its probably less now the hype is dead. Bare in mind you can import these at 10k less with an abundance of swappable parts from the 370Z and Q60. Service parts are similar. Theres 2 for sale in Birmingham. Decent specs. Then again id never buy a car from Birmingham.
  7. Yesterday
  8. I still suspect there could be more issues hiding due to lack of use.
  9. Full Weekend at Loton Park in the Zed Went pretty Well
  10. Looking rather sorry for itself. If it hasn't run for 2 years I'd want to check oil, remove the plugs, scope the bores if you have the kit, turn it over on the crank by hand, pull the fuel pump fuse and crank and build oil pressure, then fire it up before I gave a penny, but if it starts and runs 18k seems reasonable. Nice project to rescue, a detail will work wonders.
  11. Looking up its history it might have had its last mot 4 years ago which would lead me to believe its off road three years at least, id worry about unseen issues like moisture in the engine, corrosion on bearings perished rubber etc. I know with bikes its better having higher miles than none.
  12. That is such a shame! Hi and welcome along, I as above would be offering £12-£15k I assume it has no MOT either? There could be problems underneath also as its been sat for 2 years... However they are fantastic cars!
  13. Another little addition to the car this weekend. Added a diff support brace. Il be honest. I bought it cheap of ali express. It feels strong and I figure for this sort of stuff. It's probably all manufacturered there anyway. Fitting wasn't great to be honest. Allot of these brace designs are not with the finned diff cover in mind. So took some doing and a little spacing. The final fitment isn't amazing. But my diff bush is a bit ragged so I figure I cant make it worse. Waiting for some dry weather to take it for a test drive. Here's some pics.
  14. Back to topic then sorry I am thinking more and more about the new Z, especially after the facelift. I am obsessed with 350, will never replace it with anything else, that is off the table for me. However, if Nissan was selling these here and I had the money, and I am not talking about life changing amount, like enough deposit to keep the monthly payments for finance around £300-£400 then I would buy it as the third car. One year ago, I wouldn't go near it. Idk, after seeing videos about it, and I know it is not perfect... I think I am more emotional when it comes to cars than rational
  15. Last week
  16. We're a mile off topic here
  17. So why do ask people to get in touch if you're not competitive? I have also found you way more expensive than other companies
  18. Hi. I'm really sorry we were unable to offer you competitive insurance quotations. Unfortunately we can't be competitive every time, I only wish we could. Regards, Dan.
  19. Very simple, they don’t want your business as, for whatever reason, your risk is too high for them. Don’t sweat it, move on and go with someone cheaper with the same coverage 🙂
  20. My postcode is fine, I got quotes much lower than them. I just don’t understand why they gave me quotes that high. This year their quote: £1,618.78 competitor: £580 last year their quote: £5,028.51 after phone call: around £6000 if I remember correctly competitor: ~£1400
  21. Move. Your postcode often has a bigger effect than most people realise.
  22. I tried getting quotes from Adrian Flux three times so far, two for my 350z and one for Lexus, it was always at least twice more expensive than the others. I declared everything as same as I did for others but still... First year the quote I got was 4 times more expensive. Do you have any tips to get lower quotes? Maybe I was doing something wrong idk 😅
  23. Engin

    Zouthern Meet

I've been working 6 to 7 days a week lately and simply didn't have time or the energy to visit locations. I think it is safe to say that I am a disappointment to the community and will commit seppuku as soon as possible. It may take a while, but I have not forgotten this post, and will do my best to gather the Zs in the south together. Just not today
  24. F it. I’ve gone and bought the spacers as well, Eibach Pro-Spacer 20mm front and 25mm rear. Might as well do it properly if I’m going to modify the kitty. Yeah… that’s what I call her now. I’ve also contacted INGS about their N-spec body kit. It’s very expensive to import, but depending on the package size, I might just buy it and bring it back myself from Japan next year. We’ll see. I’ll attach the concept image below. That’s the dream at the moment. It might happen, it might not… who knows. But you’ve got to have a dream, right?
  25. Glad youre getting it back on the road again
  26. Im still tempted but im thinking its 5k to expensive, esp considering its in the 700£ plus road tax bracket and hasnt been used for two years.
  27. Yeah go for it buddy,I have never regretted buying mine,I bought a 2020 Nismo it's a bit of a garage Queen 3k on the clock
  28. Yep i had it in my head £15k due to servicing etc.
  29. Oh that's sad ,illness is not good,I don't think it's a bargain at that price. It definitely needs to be rescued maybe offer 18k
