  4. Welcome along Tim. A 2009 reg 350z is quite rare. Unless it was sat in the dealership for some time before registration you could have one of the last cars made.

  9. Hi everyone… just joined and thought I would get involved with the z community. This is my 350 55 reg 36k miles and I’ve had for 2 years now… completely standard and keeping it that way. Bought it to stop the recurring dream of my old 200sx from 20 years ago. it didn’t work but have a fantastic car anyway. thanks for the add. Martin

  14. Hi all — new member here, though I've been reading the excellent threads for a little while now. I'm Tim, based in Cumbria. I have a 2009 350Z HR (Z33) — 56k miles (photo attached) happy owner since 2012 🙂, completely standard and unmodified. My car's been off the road for a while and is currently mid-recommission. A health check threw up the usual rear-end corrosion story — both stay brackets, the W-brace, and the 74510-AL500 floor panel. The floor panel was the tricky one (discontinued by Nissan, my local Nissan dealer thought it might need fabricating) — but a little research led me to a NOS example at YoshiParts in Japan, which I am looking to order. Couldn't have got there without the knowledge on here, so thank you in advance. Looking forward to being part of the community. Cheers, Tim
  15. You'd probably have to go into the negative offsets, check out fitmentindustries gallery they have loads of examples of people with widebodies I wouldn't run spacers that big personally - seems like a safety risk

    Wheels dimensions?

Hello everyone some help would be much appreciated I'm planning to do overfenders on the 350z +40mm on the front +80mm on the rear Now l'm confused on what setup should I run? Do I go just for wheel spacers? Or should I go for new set of wheels? What dimension for the new wheels? Should I combo wheels and spacers? Anyone else who did overfenders what setup are y'all running? Anyone has some wheels for sale that would go with my setup? Thanks in advance

  18. No mate it doesn't
  19. wow man i’m pretty sure your car is on my road, love the car and the wheels are great
  20. According to the internet, 2012 - 2014 US cars still had the steering lock fitted, so it could be this issue, symptoms match I would genuinely test for that first Then I'd check the steering lock fuse and relay in the power distribution module (the box by the battery) Then I'd check the wiring diagram and pull some trim off and trace where that plug should be
  21. Hi, I am looking to do this as well just wondering does the mk1 nismo spoiler fit directly onto the mk2 boot lid without holes showing? thanks
  22. Sold my Car - got an audi TT, its rubbish 😆 but my hair is very nice. See you all somewhere else...
  23. No, bought on the auction. It was running on one video there
  24. Has it ever started and run since you've had it?
  25. No it is 2014. It does not has it on the steering wheel
  26. Vehicles manufactured in Japan and shipped from Japan: 0% import duty + 20% VAT (Subject to HMRC Approval) All other vehicles:10% import duty + 20% VAT Duties and VAT are calculated on the combined value of the vehicle purchase price and shipping costs. For vehicles manufactured in Japan, you can claim a 0% import duty preference under the UK-Japan Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), provided you have a proper Statement of Origin from the exporter. Vehicles manufactured elsewhere face the standard 10% duty. For anyone thinking of importing any newer Japanese cars. UK and EU have an agreement with Japan
  27. Nice one thanks I need this MOT'd soon, and I was planning on a service and upgrades (I will supply them with the items I buy). I was wondering about putting some height into the car ( not much though- a couple of inches, max) ), these roads are a bomb-site. Has anyone actually added height to their Z? All I've seen is folk lowering theirs...
  28. Sounds a bit like the infamous steering lock issue, YouTube it
  29. Hi all, just got 370 z 2014 from auction house in US. In front me are happy days of repairing the car. Already have an issue with starting the car. The key can open and close doors but when clicking on the Start button on the dashboard there is just that orange icon car with key inside blipping. You can not see millage or nothing on the dashboard just that icon blipping. Changed battery of the car, battery of the keys, no help...maybe someone can guide me in the right direction. I found that this switch is not connected. It is near Start button. Someone recognize where it goes?
