ZMANALEX Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 I use them on the 666 bhp 350Z and the 650 bhp R35' http://www.carbotech-europe.com/compounds.htm Quote
nissanman312 Posted June 9, 2015 Author Posted June 9, 2015 I take it you rate them Alex I'm guessing a fast road setup is enough for me I don't track 8 or 10 compound Quote

Both are rotor friendly. I use 10 rears and 12 front. 1 Quote

nissanman312 Posted June 10, 2015 Author Posted June 10, 2015 I keep getting told ferodo 2500 are better no noise and less dust but I've also herd these are loads better I've spoken to Ian at carbotech and he needs some 370z backing plates to make some up Quote
GT4 Zed Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 (edited) 8 should be fine for your application. Alex have you used PF compound eg 01 or pagid rs 15 or 29? If yes how does it compared to the car carbotechs 10/12? Edited June 10, 2015 by GT4 Zed Quote

If yes how does it compared to the car carbotechs 10/12? I have used PF01 and Pagid RS29 and I prefer Carbotech. Each to there own thou. Try them, however 12 may be overkill for your application. nissanman312 Posted June 10, 2015 Author Posted June 10, 2015 I've spoken to Ian there today and he said 8 would be fine on mine However needs 370z backing plates to build on Quote
gstraw Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Hey mate. You running carbotechs now then?whats the verdict? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

docwra Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 I keep getting told ferodo 2500 are better no noise and less dust but I've also herd these are loads better No comparison to the DS2500, Carbo's are far better. Ive got XP10's on the front of my 135i and Ive been impressed, only bad part was that I managed to set fire to the passenger side cailper while bedding in so its a bit noisy when giving full brake death. Prefer them to RS29 but would probably still take Carbon Lorraine RC05+ given the choice 1 Quote
lazza Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 had them on my mr2 awesome pads stopping was awesome once they were warmed up only issue was loads of break dust Quote
synolimit Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 I run xp12/xp10 also. Even on the street. One stop will throw you through the window. Quote
