Servicing costs

Main dealer in expensive servicing shock.

They have to pay for the nice uniforms and the posh showroom and the official name somehow. You can haggle them down though, so don't be put off by the first price.

Just seems ridiculous for what's little more than an oil change, I'm going to try another dealer which I can get company discount on and see where that goes, if not a local garage

I wouldn't pay it either, certainly not on an 81K Nissan, but if you want FDSH then there's a price to be paid for that. :(

What was the break down on it? That's where it gets really fun to see.

Ive just paid £48 for a P1 service supplying my own oil, filter and sump plug

But how much did the oil, filter and sump plug cost you on top of that?

What you mean is, you've just £48 for a P1 service labour. ;)

Ha yes this is true! The bits cost me £40.

my experience - 5l oil deducted from nissan service = £60 - picked up same for £20 from ebay

...though having said that - i'd still get the car checked out properly to nissan specs at a nissan service
