I had some on the car when I bought it - The previous owner put it on the interior rear and side windows. Impossible to clean was my first de-mod

I've got them on the rear. Looks @*!# up close but fine from afar. Traffic police were a bit iffy with them when checked recently, however never gave me any tickets etc. Just told me they are restricting the reflectors and the light beam. But got through 3mots with them

As I've said before, when a car comes into the back you at night, good luck explaining to the insurance company why you have material covering up 30-50% of your lights. ;)

Common sense should dictate that reducing light output is never a good idea, no matter how good you may think it looks. That said, as long as you're happy with the risks then there's no doubt it's a very effective way of getting the result you're after

Funnily enough the company that sells this stuff 'claims' that it doesn't reduce light output due to its technology (although doesn't actually explain what this technology is apart from making up a few other words that end with 'ology' - I put some on the front and for sure did reduce output, I would estimate by around 40% - its basically a plastic black material, by default it MUST absorb light being projected at it.

Took mine off after a few weeks.
