Slow typing into post/ edit box?

Weirdly, when adding text to the box at the base of a thread page, mine will regularly pause and miss out random letters? It's only on this form/ this site. Usually after first few lines. Also refuses to paste text in (tried as a workaround) and does not allow scrolling to other parts of page when typing.

 

Any ideas? Running windows 7/ IE.

I have the same if I use the Forum at one of the places of work, but at home on Mozilla its fine.

 

However, loading of pages sometimes is dreadfully slow and it does appear to be here only ?

I get input lag on here on the iPad too sometimes. Very random, no idea why, only happens occasionally.

Issue has been ongoing for a bit now especially with IE, Using Opera now and is much better

Coming from a work environment where IE was the only option, stuck with it on here for while until I was shown the light to use Google Chrome and all good since then, but......

 

Not sure if others have picked up Google Chrome falling out of bed with Silverlight which means watching Sky (F1 basically for me) through the net is going tits up and already has buffering issues, even with fibre optic. So watched the China race through IE last weekend and all was fine, so on that basis it has some merits

Interesting- issue is Mozilla will often mess up Java when playing videos (only continuing when the cursor is moved) and Java then won't re install properly so went back to IE. I'll try opera etc..

+1 and I cannot use the Quote function either on IE.

 

Maybe will have to get Chome or Mozilla
