Do Nissan still make the 370Z Roadster? I can't find any info on their UK website. There are a couple of photos in their online brochure but no reference to the car in the specs or pricing...

I believe they have discontinued selling them here. Not sure if they've discontinued actual manufacture though. There is a Nismo Roadster in concept form I believe, which looked quite nice, but no idea if/when that will be on sale here.

My local Nissan performance dealership confirmed a couple of years ago that they no longer sell the roadster in the UK. I cant remember the exact number but he stated nationwide Nissan only sold 15 or 50 in the previous year, no demand meant supply was ceased. This may change but I imagine that is unlikely.

It was an interesting discussion. He was saying the 370 is a difficult brand to get across to the public. Customers come in two forms, the majority don't know Nissan sell performance cars so when they go in looking for a standard car they see one, are interested but its not practical / too expensive. Those that do know Nissan sell performance cars go in looking for the GTR so the 370 wont fit their needs either. Its in a tricky niche that isn't widely advertised. The roadster is then a specialisation in that small niche - so there is practically no demand, as there is no awareness that the possibility exists.

Makes me happy though, i have a rather rare car on the road which suits me.

I think most people forget the 370Z exists as it's so rare, myself included! I'd been looking for a new car for a few months and couldn't find anything I wanted and could afford, and by chance when searching local cars on Autotrader, a 370Z Roadster popped up in a search result. I bought it the next day!

I don't think I've ever seen one on the roads apart from mine. Although having said that, since buying my 370, I've only seen 1 other 370 Coupe on the road as it drove past my office.

Strange considering the uk market is on of the strongest in Europe for soft top cars.

I think the 3.7 v6 and the interior put most people off. Most "roadster" buyers would prefer a 2.0 TT.......I know I wouldn't.

It didn't fare well in group tests either iirc.

Wouldn't the same have applied to the 350z?

Just last week I traded in my 2011 black rose roadster for a brand new silver one - the last one in the UK apparently. Glyn Hopkin Nissan have my old one listed at the moment, should anyone feel the need...
