nixy Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 It's a bloody disgrace. If he's going to be preaching about speed to others then he should stick to the speed limit whether the rest of us do or not. I hope he has to resign. Quote

Emperor Ming Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 This is interesting since Mr Hughes is My boss!! If you or I got caught doing 90 in a 60 we would be looking at an endorsement of 3 points and a £60 fine or possibly as it is 50% over the limit possibly a 1 month ban!! It will be interesting to see what actually happens!! Ming the Interested Quote

Stew Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 I honestly think he'll get banned and forced to resign from the traffic post. They can't let him off. He should take it on the chin! Quote
sinbad Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Sorry to go abit off topic but.. Did anyone hear about the two kids on the M56 last week or soo? There supposedly blaming the police officer for driving to the children with his sirens on. They think the sirens scared the kids to make a run for it across the M'Way? Ive been told he's been suspended.. I suppose its all got to be investigated but i dont think he can be held responsible for what happened. Quote

Once you start adding drink driving, driving without due care and attention or dangerous driving thats when you can get banned for longer. Quote
NismoDave Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 you should have been sent to alcatraz! I felt like i was, not being able to drive. Got my license back on xmas day and was the only person razzing about in my car with a paper xmas hat on You know you can take the hat off now yeah?? I hope he gets treated exacly the same as anyone else that gets caught breaking the law in that situation, in fact even a bit firmer due to his position!! The cynical side of me expects him to get away with it or off very lightly Quote
