GIXXERUK Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 Would someone care to post how much the stand would be forget the stand i'll go in the mosh pit Quote
Chesterfield Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 Looking at the forms, the cost for the whole weekend for people wishing to put their car on a specific club plot is £30 for the driver and for some bizzare reason, £35 for the Passenger. This is for both days, Sat 5th and Sunday 6th, including camping (if people arent stopping in a nearby hotel). There appears to be no extra cost for having your car placed within a "club" area, though there are only 15 lines available for booking in club cars. I have requested further info on numbers and costs. I shall post any further info asap. Event now added to calendar also. Quote
Chris`I Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 I'm up for this as long as the price doesnt sky rocket. Need to be able to convince Mrs I that it wont cost "too" much Any ideas on a final price inc staying at a hotel (if thats what everyone is doing) would be good Quote

Andy (Provisionally) 8. xstric9x(Mike) + Bex 9. H5 I will take a look into this over Xmas, just got back off hols and work mad this week. I am happy to help organise the stand etc and call the organisers to make sure we get a full set-up. IIRC, an area for all the cars in about £150 but that includes at least 3 driver tickets plus reduced fees for other club cars. They may change it for 2008..... Quote

flirt Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 I've always wanted to go to this event and would love to attend Since I am England-dumb, anyone care to recommend which airport I'd fly into? East Midlands Airport is right next door to Donny. You'll need to transfer though probably from Heathrow or something as you wouldn't get a direct flight I'd have thought I do Newark to Birmingham alot, its direct mate and only 40 miles from donny. H5 Posted February 12, 2008 Author Posted February 12, 2008 I am happy to get involved in this. Anyone fancy being the midlands / north partner? Quote
shire350Z Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 so are we having a north/ south divide on the pitch ? (or have i got this all wrong) If so .... North side 1. Shire Quote
Andy Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 No there won't be a split on the stand. I assume it will just be for things like convoys, meeting points etc. Quote
H5 Posted February 13, 2008 Author Posted February 13, 2008 No there won't be a split on the stand. I assume it will just be for things like convoys, meeting points etc. Exactly, that way the number of people each person needs to keep in check can be kept sensible (depending on actual numbers!). Shire, are my partner in crime then?? Can all the people who are definitely up for going please confirm. £35 a car for the weekend. EDIT: Link added - http://www.istsuk.com/index.html 1. H5 2. Andy Quote
Andy Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 I'm not 100% at the moment i'm afraid as I have the Scumball Rally the week after so will have to check that I can get the car finshed in the next couple of weeks. Quote
H5 Posted February 13, 2008 Author Posted February 13, 2008 Quick update - information from the organisers..... Show car is £30 for the weekend, including camping. Passenger weekend ticket is £35. Depending how many we get, track time can be arranged for varying times and costs too. Quote
