Brummiestormer Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 (edited) For my Temper Orange Z #1 Silver #2 Anthracite #3 Black They look good in silver and i'm not sure black would show the wheels to full effect. Opinions? Edited February 16, 2015 by Brummiestormer Quote
Pritchard Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 You know what im going to say. silver. you gong for the cvts? Quote
Brummiestormer Posted February 16, 2015 Author Posted February 16, 2015 Yes CVT 'S my mrs says silver but black is good on an orange car they say lol Quote
Pritchard Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Trust me when i say, that the way the 10 spokes are 'cut', its designed to shine, dazzle and reflect light. etting them in black will be a crime. if you want black wheels, get a different design (IMHO) i'll get a zoomed in pic of mine later, may help to explain Quote
LRF4N Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Darker is nice on orange but like you say you lose detail in black Anthracite is the one 1 Quote
14N Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Post a pic of the wheels in question Ian. Black wheels would look awesome on your Zed, but if the wheels need to be shown off and not lost, don't go black. My vote goes to anthracite. Definitely a dark colour for Temper Quote
Grundy Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 (edited) Don't know if this is much help Just changed the colour of mine to be more Tempter, This is mine with Gunmetal (I think) Rays, loved the colour with Sunset. So a darker shade would be my preference. You've got a nice vibrant coloured car, have something soft and subtle to compliment it i.e. a darker tone/shade. Edited February 17, 2015 by grundy225 Quote
Grundy Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Hmmm, my bad, photobucket is acting up and has reverted back to Sunset Quote
brillomaster Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Silver! Such beautiful wheels need to sparkle, along with the sparkle in the paint Quote
Brummiestormer Posted February 20, 2015 Author Posted February 20, 2015 Gone with the silver as the other colours would have cost me over 300 more was leaning that way anyway lol Quote
brillomaster Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 well, its not worthless yet... but if you don't post pics upon immediate receipt of wheels and fitting, it will be! Quote
Brummiestormer Posted February 20, 2015 Author Posted February 20, 2015 well, its not worthless yet... but if you don't post pics upon immediate receipt of wheels and fitting, it will be! Not being fitted until first week in April when it comes off SORN went with Kumho KU39 tyres after due consideration and will get it laser alligned asap too when fitted Quote
Payco Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 (edited) Just my opinion but although I love black rims they somehow always look smaller. My 19's Rotas look smaller in black for some reason. Silver gets my vote.. Edited February 20, 2015 by Payco Quote
Spatt Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Silver ! will stand out and reflect light when your driving about.. black will just look boring and you wont even see the wheels properly. think about at night when the lights hit them...black wheels just dont look as good. in my opinion.
