rmmackfc Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 If this is a repost .... sorry But some pics of the new Scooby, wow can't wait to see one and LMAO Styled by John Merrick http://www.autocar.co.uk/News/NewsGallery.aspx?AR=228524&EL=-1&IM=140086 Quote
Adam@Z1auto.com Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 it's odd ya know - the pictures I had seen from the 'ring made the car look cool in a quirky way. The official press pics though, between the wheels and the stance, looks downright, I don't know, Kia-esque Quote
Sarnie Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 I know scooby's have never pretty but thats soooooo Quote
Kev946 Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 The Impreza has lost it's identity IMHO. Looks more like a Seat.. Quote
sl114 Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Now to enter the market to compete with Honda Civics and focus's. Nice, NOT! Quote
Sarnie Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 The Impreza has lost it's identity IMHO. Looks more like a Seat.. Is it actually the new Imprezza though or just a whole new model ? Quote
Ian Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Its hideous. I have always wanted an Impreza but not while they are making them look like this Quote

wes.brook Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Its hideous. I have always wanted an Impreza but not while they are making them look like this +1 Of course it has always a close run thing, in both styling and performance, between the Impreza and Lancer Evo. Subaru had best hope the Impreza has as big a *performance* advantage over Evo X than the Mitsi currently enjoys by way of styling. http://www.mitsubishi-cars.co.uk/evolutionX/gallery.asp Personally I could never choose between the last generation of STI/Evo. Subaru just made that choice a whole lot easier. Quote
rickya Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 Aestheticaly stupid move by Subaru but financially (sales) great move. Mainstream less hardcore design; now into huge hatchback market where it will anhialate the competition & no longer in small hardcore niche market. But maybe their plan is to pass on the Impreza name/heritage to the hatchback model/market where it will a huge bonus for it. At the same time Subaru did not have a quality prestige sports car (the Impreza name was becoming synanomous with chavy & cheesy) so rather than try & change the brand image of Impreza its better to pass it on to a younger, cheaper hatchback market. Maybe they will invent a new classier model without the Impreza image to compete with e.g M3's RS4 etc?? Quote
GIXXERUK Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 looks like a rover thats ram raided halfrauds ! ugly Quote
Stew Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 I think it looks gash. The new mitsi looks very nice indeed. I guess that they want the STI to compete with focus ST etc rather than the Evo now. Good move making a hatchback but I think the marketing department has it's work cut out! Quote
rmmackfc Posted October 17, 2007 Author Posted October 17, 2007 I think the marketing department has it's work cut out! Yip, they have went from one major rival to half a dozen (at least) Quote
sl114 Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 I'd take the EVO X over this anyday... So if this and the Evo were parked next to each other, you would steal the Evo X rather than that? Quote
