UNDERCAR NEONS

Am looking at getting neons like on Ginas car want red neons or led, under wheel arch car and bonnet, so when I press unlock they come on. Anyone gove me advice what to watch out for where to buy a good set and if easy to fit?

Nod my cup of tea but they can look good if done right. Id definately buy LED. Low power, high output and have a long life.

If you are going to do it - which is SO wrong in my opinion - you will want LEDs as they give off a better light in my opinion. Also it needs to be done properly so that you get a nice glow all around the car, rather than just in spots around the front, back and sides.

I think interior lighting can look pretty good, especially in the footwell and boot.

Why dont you get a kit that can change colour, that way you can chnage the colour depending on how you feel!

Also remember that its illegal to drive with lights under the car unless they follow the correct lighting as stated in the bible of driving. Plus the tubes or sources of the light cannot be on display.

They can look ok if tastefully done! I had a set of blue LED's on my last car I built , I hardly used them tbh but still looked ok (ish) I think. The only problem was they looked like strips of light where as ideally you want the colour to be uniform all round the car so it looks like a puddle of light instead of 4 strips.
