The new one does look better quality inside and out, but god knows what it actually like. I'm hyping it up and I am prepared to be disappointed when I get up close and personal.

check that dude in blue out on youtube

he currently owns a 2013 mustang gt and has been test driving the new one and recons its a massive step up on the old one

i do think if people are going into this expecting audi/nissan build quality for the price they are fools, as its not going to be but that's like being shocked a 2. tdi vauxhall insgina has lower build than a 2.0 tdi Mercedes c200

Hell I expect better than Nissan build quality

In reality anything better than the GT86 will do and it's pretty awful.

This is what my local dealer had to say

As briefly explained when you came in, the current situation with the Mustang is that only 1500 units are going to be brought to the UK per year, so they are going to be in high demand! We were recently asked to provide customers details who had placed a deposit with us by Ford for the initial build waiting list - this has now closed. We now have to wait for the next allocation for any future interest - to be honest I would expect the current wait being at least two years.

Apologies I cannot be more positive. It's going to be an awesome car I am sure, and because of the supply restrictions will be hot property indeed and can see them changing hands for more than the list price initially.
