popeacute Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 m12 x 1.25 shown here, ebays ones are m14 x 1.5, but the same seller does m12 x 1.25, which is the correct size for zed isn't it? Quote
z33_Michael Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Oh interesting. Thank You for pointing it out I appreciate it, maybe i should do more research. Quote

This. ^^ You won't get a genuine Greddy magnetic sump plug for £8 unless it's second hand. You can all try the eBay ones if you like but I guarantee you the magnets will be sh*t in comparison to the ones Greddy use. If it's not a strong enough magnet then it's a waste of time as it will not attract the metal particles well enough to do any good. GLWTS GT4 Zed. Quote
GT4 Zed Posted May 14, 2014 Author Posted May 14, 2014 Same packaging etc as above though, sorry if im wrong. You are wrong! looks like the same is not the same. I really don't have any issue if indeed it was overpriced but that not the case and If you had read that listing before opening your gob you would noticed the description says "greddy style" and look at the pictures you can see the rough finish and smudged paint suggesting is very much thi are replicas and probably a poor one at that. Further researching you have shown you that only Tarmacsportz sells genuine greddy plugs in the UK AFAIK. I had an ebay one a while ago which snapped and luckily i didnt have to drill it out hence i ordered this from that states. Its the same %&*$ i see with wheel nuts, steering wheels. if its too good to be true it isnt. Quote

You were wrong and implicitly suggesting I want to fleece someone without taking due diligence to verify your sources and you have the guts to tell me not to get irritated with your backhanded apology? You are an imbecile! Would that be an overreaction from my part? Mods can you clean the thrash of my FS post! Thanks. 2 Quote
AliveBoy Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Good price for a genuine GReddy item, I'd snap this up if I hadn't already done an oil change this month GLWTS Quote
Toon Chris Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Over react much? Quite. Much less stressy to say, 'no they are not original but mine is'. BTW, It's interesting but I can't see the picture at work and don't know what BNIB means . I can see they are available for £20 new so presume yours is new? 1 Quote

Like i said i was sorry. it wasnt no backhanded apology, it was a correct me if i'm wrong which several people did. as above a simple, yeah thats a fake one and mines genuine would have sufficed. As for being called an imbecile well.. what can i say? your welcome?. 1 Quote
