I'm on a rig a couple of hundred miles north of Shetland and apparently it was spectacular last night but no one came to tell me, so I missed it. 350 Russ Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 I went all the way to Iceland and didn't get to see them....now they are here and still haven't got to see them Isn't iceland an incredible place though, that's a shame you didn't get to see them, I went there in October and saw them, was quite strange I was expecting to see them like you do in the photos I.e big streak of green and purple going across the sky but all you see is white until you take a photo with the right aperture. Here's one of the photos I could get, it's a bit blurry but best i could do without a tripod Quote
