marzman Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Apologies if this is a repost, it looks like it happened a month ago but i've only just seen it. 2 planes full of skydivers collided in mid-air causing a fireball, but all occupants escaped unhurt! Amazing footage. http://www.itv.com/news/2013-11-05/skydivers-miraculous-escape-from-mid-air-plane-crash/ 1 Quote
wizurd Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 (edited) That's mental. How does the one plane end up dumping down on top of the other one. Or the one underneath going up into the top plane. What happened to the pilots out of interest? Edited December 1, 2013 by wizurd Quote
marzman Posted December 1, 2013 Author Posted December 1, 2013 It says one pilot had a parachute and ejected, and the other managed to land the plane safely despite a badly damaged wing and rotor! Quote
wizurd Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Yer just saw the news report. Amazing that the one plane was flyable and landed. Glad the other pilot managed to get out ok. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk Quote
GMballistic Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Tbh that is the only reason I would want to jump from a plane anyway, ..if it was crashing that is. Glad everyone was ok. Quote
LRF4N Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Unbelievable... Big contrast to the helicopter incident a few days ago. Just goes to show you when your times up your times up Where was this plane crash? Quote
wmr1980 Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 I used to be a skydiving instructor, and seeing this sort of thing does make you realise how easily it can all go wrong. Good to see everyone survived - probably the best place to be for a plane crash, outside of the plane! Quote
Vlad Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 Bloody hell! Way to much tragics happen recently! Not good! Glad everyone survived and respect to that pilot who landed other plane safely - great skills! Quote
