20inc wheels questions

Iv seen some wheels and can any one help me about fitting to a 350z roadster here are some pics

Is the car lowered?

 

Either way 20" wheels are a little on the large side in my opinion, especially if the car is not lowered.

20" can work, but those are very narrow at 8.5, they arent staggered. if the car is stock height it will emphasis it and even brembos will look lost inside there

I have the inovit vortex 20 in fitted and there very nice car is not lowered but it did sit high as it would with 20s,the profile is 35 though,so I added Tarmac side skirts and this lowered the look of the car.

Thanks every one :-) the car is Standard I was thinking about lowering it next year would this be possible on the 20s ?

yes, the wheels still have the same rolling radius, the bigger the wheeel gets the narrower the tyre gets to compensate for the bigger alloy

Just seen these 20s 8.5 fronts and 9.5 backs for 600 new but will need to save up for the tyres lol

Think I might just get them for Xmas :-)

you do know that the bigger the wheel the heavier it gets and it slows the car down, especially if they are just cast wheels.

 

I run 20" BBS Detroits on my car, they are a 2 piece forged wheel, the same sized cast wheel would weigh alot more. the greater it is the larger impact it will have on your cars acceleration.

Yep bigger alloys slower car got that :-) they are made by cobra in one peace aluminium . They don't say the kg off them on the site . Think with this kit as well they look sweat :-)

20" rims just don't look right on a 350z in my opinion. Even the nice r35 rims look just too huge. 19's is where you want to be at

Not keen on that look im afraid, will make the brakes look tiny too.

Shove a big brake kit on and you might get away with 20's

you say it like the tyres grow on the wheel to the same sizes, he can still run a 45 profile on a 20" if he wish but then it also depends on the width as a 225-35-20 isnt going to be the same RR as a 295-35-20

 

And imo unless you got the dub Edition look 20" are to big

I know that Steve, i just didnt want to flood him with info. Keep it simple and all that. But as above. 19's is where you should be looking. Id be trying to get a 10.5 width rear and 9 width front to Keep a Nice stagger. Also looks better.

So missed the post man yesterday but was up awaiting him from 8 am and he's just dropped 4 nice boxes off for me just awaiting the 2 tyres to come then can get them on the car

Looks 100% better with the drop. What did u drop it by ? That is next on my to do list but got speed bumps on my road

this looks more like an aston martin, 19's imo
