BMW M3 M Performance Frozen white Nanolex Matte

Envy Valeting

Recommended Posts

Another detail carried out at our Gosport, Hampshire unit based HQ.

This Frozen white BMW had been on my radar since the owner bought it, so have been looking forward to doing it. Previously I'd have been looking at the Swissvax Opaque range which I carry, but now Nanolex have something for me to use. Seemed the obvious choice as a Nanolex Approved Detailer to use the Matte range:thumb:

Just back from "the ring"......

Great work. I've always wondered about products for matte finishes.

Just as a matter of interest, what products would you recommend for a pearlescent white finish such as on the 370z storm white cars?

Nice work as always tim but don't you muss the reflection shots when doing matt/satin cars? That's how you judge a detail but with these cars there's less to show for all that effort

Love the satin paint jobs available on the m3s

For a great pearl white finish, I find branded products such as Colgate or Aquafresh offer the best results. Minty fresh breath too :teeth: :teeth:

Sorry, couldn't resist....

What a difference, great job. Nice M3 as well.

It was also a superb thing to drive. I had to collect and drop off and all I can say is wow!

I would strongly suggest the Dodo Whiter tinted waxes like http://www.envyvaleting.co.uk/products_info.asp?id=187 or if you have slightly deeper pockets maybe http://www.envyvaleting.co.uk/products_info.asp?id=134 or even http://www.envyvaleting.co.uk/products_info.asp?id=268 All great waxes, just differing performance and budget really. Any one will do what you want.

Yes and no Irfan! Was looking forward to and dreading this in equal measures and it was a new finish to work on and new products to use but it went really well and I actually grew to love the paint over the job!

Would I consider it myself? No, but only because any damage=body shop and will they be able to match this style of paint....

You must just love standing back when you finished a job and comparing the before and after.

Some people really don't care about their car, guess it keeps you in business though.

I do Immy, and yes it does but some of them like this I'd like to see more often because its local and if you keep on top of it it will be a much nicer car for the owner to cherish.
