KyleR Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Looks nice. Would also suit a bumper tuck or a diffuser Quote
gringo Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 They look great .......I'd be interested too! Quote
AliveBoy Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 I think someone (maybe brave) should do that, then extend the spats round to finish by the exhaust holes, then a bumper tuck and it would be perfection Quote
rodgeevans Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 I nearly had this done but decided against it in the end hadn't seen a picture of it before, oh well maybe next respray. Quote
mattross1313 Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 If I end up throwing a lot of money at the spray job I had also thought of doing this as it looks far cleaner. However with the bank account looking like it does I will end up spraying them in the garage and fitting them myself Quote

Bems Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 I'm tempted to do this too after seeing this pic. Just finishes it off a treat! Quote
OV53 Posted October 21, 2013 Author Posted October 21, 2013 Oh and the bumper tuck has already been done! 1 Quote

Stutopia Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 I'm not a spat lover, but I do like that. Quote
ph 7 Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 I was thinking about doing this as well when I have them fit to the car and sprayed. Depends on cost I suppose but I will be enquiring. Quote
Ceejay29 Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 (edited) I have been considering the rear of the car for a while now, as the standard bumper rakes too high for my liking and it could do with a respray. I am a sucker for smooth rounded lines which is why I prefer the standard bumpers to most aftermarket products. My only concern with smoothing the spats is its durability and potential 'ghost lines' where the original join is. For example some de-badged cars have a haze around where the badge used to be when viewed from certain angles. I think I'd try it with the other style of spat which is slightly subtler and would flow nicer. Edited March 1, 2014 by Ceejay29 Quote
