Thanks for the replies chaps........................I shall give the MOT place a ring today to find out if removing it (temporary) will mean it passes. I've looked at the ebay sellers of the Ultra racing strut......Not one has it in stock, which is rather annoying as they are all still selling there. So hopefully can get one and have it fitted as soon as I get one delivered.

Any recommendations?....Are the ebay specials better than OEM?

I have a week......I'm off all next week so can cope without my car....... as I've booked it in next Friday to be replaced....So I'm looking to source one.!

Looking for some help..... My zed has just failed it's Mot........Any advice would be great. Garage doing it doesn't know much about Zeds The part sits under the car and is a flat plate in kind of V shape. It bolts to the floor and chassis. Any ideas..........?

So a big thank you guys!!!!!! I found the secret fuses.....sneaky blitters!!! Changed and normal service resumed!!

Right...................I've replaced all the 10 fuses...............still no joy! main beam/high beam work fine. Break lights work fine. No side lights and no rear lights whatsoever!..................Any ideas? I've put back original side light bubs.

Doubt its the bcm..............everything else electrical works..................I'll do some checks again and swop some fuses about. Thanks!

So...looking around the car....I have no rear lights at all..................nor do I have any lights for the numberplate.......Now I really need some help!!!!

Hi all.....................looking for some advice. I was attempting to fit some LED sidelights. But now I have no side lights working. Took a link from here... ordered the bulbs. Today I put one in, turned on side lights......OEM bulb came on new one didn't. Took it out, turned it around and replaced.....nothing again, only this time neither light worked. Tried main/high beam, all still ok. Interior alarm still comes on saying sidelights are on. Had a look at the fuses.........the 10's all seem fine , both interior and under the bonnet....... Any ideas?

I've no idea whatsoever.......for some reason it just stopped working. I didn't have the battery off the car, the remote was all fine. Just one of things I guess!

All sorted...got someone to stand outside the car in the rain and watch the indicators.......all working with the remote now!!!!

So..... My car won't respond to the open and close button on my remote! I've searched the forum and found the register procedure and followed it through but still no joy. One thing I noticed was it says "the turn signal lamps will flash twice". Does this mean the indicator lights in the cabin or outside? The reason I ask is because I hear double click but see no flash. It's driving me bonkers!!!!!
