What exhaust should i get?

Evening all,

 

Looking at upgrading my exhaust from OEM. I want to get an exhaust that isnt too loud and very subtle. Im liking the Milltek, but just dont want to folk out for it and not like it. Also the Scorpion doesnt seem to bad.

 

Just wondering on opinions from their what they have on theirs or seen.

The milltek only offers a small step up from the OEM system, I'd opt for the Cobra Sport system priced at £425, offers an excellent upgrade over OEM...

Scorpion is a lovely sounding exhaust. Not loud but sounds like an M3. Powerful sound.

Milltek won't sound much louder but with some BERK HFCs it does above 4000 rpm. Other exausts can be louder but the tone of the Milltek is awesome in my opinion. Plus it even looks the best when nicely polished up.

Invidia is awesome sound 4k and above, sounds like a v6 but very oem below that.

I have a Cobra from Cougar Store.

 

Best thing I have done to the car.

 

It sounds amazing, but still subtle when i want it to be.

Have just fitted a Milltek system on my Zed.

 

Fantastic improvement in performance and a great build quality, however, the exhaust note is similar to OEM system below 4000 rpm.

Sam, Ive just has a resonated Cobra system fitted (thanks CS). Love the sound, not that loud either,

After looking and a little research im moving toward the cobra system. I was looking at some videos and the loudness to revs ratio seems good.....and it does sound the dogs nuts.

 

Im actually in Winchester soon as im putting mine through the winchester nissan for a service.

Amuse R1 Titanium with Motordyne Resonated XYZ pipe, almost no noise down low and then a symphony orchestra ain't got sheeeeeeeeeeiit on the noise it makes when you nail it!

 

What I will say is don't get the Cobra as it drones a bit. Or if you do want one then buy my old one off me for £250!

I have a cobra exhaust and it's quiet on the low ranges and a lovely rasp as it increases. Also not too loud! Awesome

Now im 100% not sure. Defo need to hear to be sure.

 

As I use mine as a daily drive, I dont want my ears ringing after being in it for an hour sat in traffic.

 

Definitely will get in contact though humpy when im up there.
