Won't take long. Takes 5mins to get front end off

Not just the bumper. It's bumper, front lights, crash bars, radiators and pretty much everything in front of the engine.

Still really small job...

Are you having a laugh?

Of course it's all relative to what a person is used to, but it'll take several hours for someone with the right tools and knows kind of what they're doing. Not something I'd take on if it wasn't completely necessary.

I can get my front bumper off in literally about 1.5 mins, the rest can't take too long and if you want some shiny timing chain coverage surely it's worth it for a good price anyway.

Looks like we are just better in every single way ;) **** easy job and yes I've taken the front end off a 350 before

Big job to do properly and only worth doing if already stripped for other work.

Alex. :)

Will this still fit with the Vortech V3 supercharger fitted?

Of course, it's just an OEM piece that you already have that's been painted.

I think Will asks "why bother?" Because it can't really be seen. I've put quite a bit of time into my bay recently and I've no idea what shape my cover is in.

Lot of hassle for a dark enging bay in the end

Yeah I'm taking the whole front off anyway to install the charger so may as well do this at the same time :teeth:

Why? Lol it's very possible to install it with just bumper off and undetray lol

Because I'm changing a lot of the front end for the sake of it :)

I can understand if you were fitting a new rad at the same time but not heard of any vortech owners that took the whole front off for their install(maybe keyser when he went mental painting)

Exactly right mate, new radiator and fan unit are being changed out :) as well as all the coolant hoses, relocating oil cooler, installing meth/water injection kit so will be using the washer bottle for that instead, new bulbs for my new halo lights and a few small things I can't remember.
