GMballistic
have you guys been using the washers when installing? I used my supplied washers on the bonnet fixings when I fitted my struts.

cs2000
I did use the washers, installed them on the bonnet nut, you can just about see it peeking out on this photo Probably not necessary though to be fair.
chirag1988
have you guys been using the washers when installing? I used my washers on the engine bay side (bottom end) as I used the supplied bolts so I don't have to cut the plastic on the covers. The bolt at the top on the bonnet had a washer already in place so didn't have any need to put it there. To be honest I don't think it makes any difference but I used them as they were there
Lyndzzz
Thanks CS2000 for this, just fitted my new dampers. Apart from one of the 10mm bolts shearing and a fiddle to get the rest of it out, it went exactly as described! I used the supplied bolts and washers. I love them
Cal
I got mine from I4N today... So are people fitting them upside down to prolong the life of them? Or as per the instructions and pictures?

cs2000
Yep, the instructions show them fitted correctly, and my final photo in the original guide shows them the correct way up Not sure if the ones from 14N are Circuit Sports branded (as I havnt seen the for sale thread), but my instructions showed this. And now the other picture that shows the thinner part in contact with the wing.
14N
The one's I've got/had are not branded Circuit Sports, but when I requested a copy of the fitting instructions (so I could send a copy if anyone needed them), the instructions they provided were exactly the same as yours CS. I haven't included a copy of them with any of my dampers, just a link to your fitting guide as it's much better (and in better English too)!

Scully
Does anyone know the thread size for the fender bolts? Going to aquire some Allen bolts from work
14N
I'd say they were M6 and approx 10mm long. IIRC. Although I don't think the length is critical.

Jack94
Thanks Stevo but aren't they different to the circuit sports ones? The mounting kit doesn't look the same.
