Drive Belts - when to change?

I'm sure this question has been asked before, but my Zed is coming up to 50k miles, the drive belts look ok, but would like to change them before they fail..

 

I can't see any reference in the service schedule when drive belts should be replaced. but maybe I've missed something.

 

Your advice would be appreciated.,

Mine snapped at 50k

Had mine done@45k by cougar store, as they were showing signs of wear

I think mine were changed at 40k by prev owner, but replaced them at 58k when I purchased my Z just to be on safe side as they are pretty cheap and will save u hassle

Gates upgraded Blue Horizon belts and tensioner pulley nuts in stock and good to go same next day if required.

I thought mine looked a bit dodgy last weekend as I could see cracks in them where they went over the tensioning rollers - so replaced them - my clock is showing 57k

Thought I'd better change my aircon belt when I saw this 29k miles '54 plate

Replaced mine last year due to cracking appearing. Only 35k on the clock but zed is an 05 plate.

Had mine replaced today at Cougar Store at 73000 miles as part of a service

Got me worried now I'll have to take a look at mine tomorrow 59k and cant find any thing in the service history that they have been changed.

Change it. Did mine at 45k courtesy of Alex. A job worth doing.
