offset question

with the brembo set up can you get away with 28 front and 23 rear - if so what do they look like - ie stick in or out ??

28 front is gona be too much into the front arches (wont look good), Brembo clearence will depend more on alloy shape etc ; 23 rear is good

All comes down to the design of the wheel. 28 on one wheel would clear but then on another it might not.

 

Generally 28 is quite high and will probably sit fairly tucked in at the front.

Again, you can't just say an offset and whether it will look good. Needs to be taken in conjunction with the size of the wheel (width) and design.....

Ive got +22 front & rear and they fill the arches really well

offset and width go absolutely hand in hand

 

one can't say how a +28 will look without saying how wide it is

 

It also depends on the tire (both size and brand)

 

IE - an 18x8.5 with a +28 and 18x9.5 +28 look vastly different (9.5 will sit out 1/2 inch more) despite the offset being the same

 

for example - this is 18x8.5 +20 up front (9.5 +20 out back)

 

 

An 18x9 with a +26 would sit exactly the same in relation to the fender of the car

here is the widths of the rims - dont have tyres on them so what would you reccomend if they will indeed fit ?

 

19x9.5 front offset 28 (will they clear the brembos)

19x10.5 rear offset 22

I'd run 255 or 265/30/19 up front and 285/30/19 out back (might need to roll the rear fenders)

My comment presumed you would be going with fairly standard width of wheels i.e. 8.5"

i really quite thick when it comes to this.....but i take it the wheels would stick out further dues to the increase in wheel width but also stick in further due to the difference in offset ???
