ioneabee Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 (edited) ah yes - remember you posting that now - but where have you routed the power cable ? oops - you posted further as I was typing Edited March 9, 2013 by ioneabee Quote
The Bounty Bar Kid Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 Power cable is currently hanging down. Hoping to give Keyser a visit when he's free to help me hide it on top of the headliner with it then going down the a pillar and into a power connection behind the dashboard. Quote
samsniss350z Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 These are really popular in Russia and judging by the state of the driving over there they're really needed, plus they use them to put the police off from bribing the driver. I think they're a great idea and i reckon they'll become more popular over here, moreso when they get a little smaller and less obtrusive. Hey BBK, whereabouts did you buy your Blackvue? Quote

4RE Leather Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 I think this is the 4th post on this subject in recent times. No sound on that Dip! Did u not say you recorded the noise from someones exhaust yesterday as well? Quote
Darren-B Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Dip, with your cam do you have to tell it to record everytime you drive or does it automatically record when you start the car? Whats it like @night? Would it be easy to transfer between vehicles? Audio? Quote
The Bounty Bar Kid Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Camera records as soon as car is turned on, however once I install the smart power cable, it'll be on 24/7 but will stop if the voltage gets low. At night it's alright. Problem is poorly lit places, so distance is a problem. But anything lit by headlights is good. Yes it would be easy to transfer as it stands however you'd need a second mount. Mount is stuck onto windscreen. No sound in that clip cos I swore. So thought it best to remove sound altogether. I'll upload some other stuff later, probably not today. Taking my mum shopping for mother's day then out for dinner. Quote
ioneabee Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Where've you mounted it ? by the mirror or down on the dash ? Quote
spursmaddave Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Which one did you go for Dip? Be interested in how long you can record on a 32 gb card Quote
