Ever had people taking pics of you car?

I’m used to the Z or my last car the Celica being photographed from overpasses or at the lights by pedestrians but I couldn’t believe what happened last Saturday.

 

Passing through a small town on my way south to visit my mother the passenger in the car behind hung out the window to take pics. I sniggered and firmly planted my foot when exiting the town.

 

About 20 mins later I was stopped at traffic lights in another town and watched a car pull up behind. Seconds latter three hands shot round from the rear seats all holding camera phones.

 

For a moment I thought someone had written something on the back of my car.

3 years on and I still get thumbs up, pics taken, "give it some!" comments etc!

 

the Zed will most defintiely be a classic.

You should try driving the Clio of Justice, gets too much attention, yesterday, I had to walk round the M&S carpark to avoid having another chat!!

yep, a few times. Once came out of Magnets to find most of the employees standing around the Z. Another time had someone crossing the road in front of me at some lights. He crossed turned around and waited and watched me leave

The car, no (or not yet). Had a bloke once asking me if I was happy with it, coz a friend of him had one and got rid of it after 1 year and nothing but trouble with it.

Everyone seemed to take pics of the vette when it was up and running

When I had my 911 I was waiting to pick the wife up from the bank and a group of Chinese tourists came up and one asked if he could have his picture taken sitting in it, I let him him but needless to say I had the keys in my hand

I got my Z in the local newspaper in Lille, the concierge guy was fascinated by cars and they did a story on it with a large picture.

 

Got copies of the paper but no idea what the article says as I don't do French

When I was parking mine at my local the other night, some bloke asked me what was it. And no I wasn't having a drink before anyone jumps on me just going for a meal.

A friend of mine when she first saw my zed, commented that it looked like a cross between a Porsche and an Audi TT, but much better looking than both.......

..................which was nice.

I normally just get the "playstation" ( Gran Turismo4???) generation kids taking photos, in my neighbourhood.

and After this "confused" looks , as you say they cannot figure out what it is...

Well the other night at KFC I created such interest that the duty manager gave me a free "Avalanche" ice cream, unless of course he just fancied me???

 

 

But today was great, turned up at Thruxton to get some info and a super car experience day was happening.

 

The amount of people who were one second drooling over a Ferrari and Aston Martin suddenly shot their attention to my Zed!!
