HassanZ Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 (edited) Hello all, I have promised a few of you I will upload the video I recorded when my Zed sustained £5,500 worth of damage by the hail storm we experienced in Burbage/Hinckley, Leicester. I was at work at the time, when the air started to feel very humid and the sky went really dark. I decided to go outside to have a look at the sky when I noticed a odd-looking cloud. I decided to take a photo of it which is below. It then started thundering and lightning - not like what we normally see in the UK. It was more like a tropical storm. I decided to take a video of this as it wasn't normal. As soon as I started recording, the hail just began to fall. I captured the whole storm on video. Within 8 minutes, all the surrounding roads were flooded, even Arctic lorries were struggling to drive through! I suggest you mute the sound, I don't think you want to hear my extremely excited voice - VERY EMBARRASSING! Enjoy... Photos of damage to my Zed has been posted later on in this thread. HassanZ Posted January 12, 2013 Author Posted January 12, 2013 I knew it would make you laugh!!! I am uploading damage photos whilst I'm typing this. The only thing is, my camera was not capable of capturing the damage properly due to the reflection of the bodywork. I will see what I can do. Quote

The actual damage is very difficult to see on the photos due to poor quality photos and a lot of reflection on the bodywork. You will get an idea of the damage though. Quote
