He says Axis Hiro Drift but there are Axis Hiros and Drift Hiros (and Dare Hiros and others! ). Axis are the original design as far as I know. I wouldn't worry too much about cracking spokes if you're buying new - the horror stories on the US sites were a long time ago and no one seems to have had any recent problems. Axis blamed a bad batch. I love Hiros but the black isn't the best colour for the design. I bought some but never actually saw them (wrong colour - long story ) but the guy who imported them for me said the quality was top notch.
