roadtrip Posted March 14, 2012 Author Posted March 14, 2012 Looking at getting some of the 5zigens in the near future I've liked the 5ZIGENs since seeing photos of Pimm's car but don't know much about them. Are they easy to get hold of or do they have to be imported? Do you know what they weigh or how much a set costs? Quote
roadtrip Posted March 14, 2012 Author Posted March 14, 2012 You're right, 19" multi-spokes aren't about yet Hopefully by the end of the year there will be something I'm really liking all three styles you showed but waiting until later in the year could prove difficult! To give me an idea, what do the 18" ones weigh in comparison to Rays? Quote
RisingPower Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 I'm really liking all three styles you showed but waiting until later in the year could prove difficult! To give me an idea, what do the 18" ones weigh in comparison to Rays? Heavy Even really light volks/advans struggle to get near the weight of the rays, rotas will be heavier. Quote
RisingPower Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 I really like the ones on the Kia! The tyres are wayyy too fat on them, though they do remind me of volks. Quote
roadtrip Posted March 14, 2012 Author Posted March 14, 2012 I really like the ones on the Kia! I think I read they were made by HRE. With sensible tyres on a decent car they would look seriously . Quote
Greddy-Matt Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Loving multi-spokes at the moment, I really really want these (along with the kit) but can I find anywhere that sells them in the UK Quote
RisingPower Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 http://www.enkei.co.uk/acatalog/Enkei_L ... heels.html Kit for me is a bit But maybe tarmac could get hold of it for you? Quote
Greddy-Matt Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Not seen those Enkei's before thanks for the heads up, the wheels on the Voltex car are AME TM02's Quote
Sized Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Looking at getting some of the 5zigens in the near future I've liked the 5ZIGENs since seeing photos of Pimm's car but don't know much about them. Are they easy to get hold of or do they have to be imported? Do you know what they weigh or how much a set costs? Newera parts and Evobits both have them advertised on their websites but not sure what they have in stock. Price seems to be somewhere in the region of £1.5k+ plus a bit more for centre caps. Was gonna speak to a few traders on here and also Abbey at some point to see what the best price is Not sure on weight. Will probs check when I'm nearer to ordering but tbh I don't track my car and unless they're silly heavy (unlikely) I'm not that fussed Quote
RisingPower Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Not seen those Enkei's before thanks for the heads up, the wheels on the Voltex car are AME TM02's Looks like they're discontinued for starters and they look to me identical to the enkeis? Quote
roadtrip Posted March 15, 2012 Author Posted March 15, 2012 the wheels on the Voltex car are AME TM02's To me those look quite similar to the Avant Garde M368. Quote
RisingPower Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 To me those look quite similar to the Avant Garde M368. Those are lovely But to me they don't look like the enkeis, closer to work cr kais tbh, but faaarr nicer Shame about the calipers behind them though Wonder where our resident wheel hoes are (Looks like you've got taste ) Quote
ben@RARE RIMS Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 We do have contacts with various other suppliers also, so if anybody finds something specific they'd like we can check availability etc Quote
Blacky Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 I have to agree the right multispokes can look good on the z Quote
taffyjason Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 TSW Nurburgring look really nice http://www.tsw.com/alloy_wheels_nurburgring.php Quote
roadtrip Posted March 29, 2012 Author Posted March 29, 2012 TSW Nurburgring look really nice http://www.tsw.com/alloy_wheels_nurburgring.php Yes I noticed those too, I particularly like the matt bronze but that's probably just me. I think the TSW Interlagos is also a very nice multi-spoke but not seen any pictures of either on a Zed: Quote
taffyjason Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 I think the nurburgring's are quite agressive, i like them i know what you mean about the Bronze ones though, do look nice, not overly keen with the mirror finish on the gunmetal though Quote
Tarmac@TarmacSportz Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Enkei and 5zigen I can supply, Don't think there's much in 19's on the 5Zigen and lead times might be poor. Been meaning to put the Enkei's on the website as they are a good middle of the road priced wheels. There's a thread in my section on Enkei's Quote
roadtrip Posted April 28, 2012 Author Posted April 28, 2012 Before this thread dies a death I thought I'd resuscitate with some absolutely stunning wheels from Rays, completely out of my league price-wise but worth mentioning I think: Volk Racing G12 Volk Racing G25 Gram Lights 57Xtreme Quote
roadtrip Posted May 2, 2012 Author Posted May 2, 2012 Yeah, the 57Xtreme are a fair bit cheaper than the other two but could do with a bit more concave-ness, I think the G12 and G25 is really where the action is. Quote
DannyP Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 I like multispoke tbh. I run 19" Inovit Vortex Prestige. Some people don't like them, but I think it suits the Z well. Quote
