coldel Posted March 27, 2012 Author Posted March 27, 2012 Chuffed that being a useless handy man, I managed to drill and fit these. I tried one side, checking it against the bolts and the pre marked drill points - they were spot on very pleased Then I checked the other side, they were all completely off line and I had to mark my own drill points - bizarre really that they could mark one side spot on but not the other Quote

They look really good Quote
robin c Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Any plans to do the rear fog clear out? I am planning this tweak next, should look nice on black paint. Saw your Zed at weekend coming into town from Dachet and the Zed looked pretty clean to me! Quote
coldel Posted March 28, 2012 Author Posted March 28, 2012 I had the plastics for the rear fog but just sold them on here - decided not to in the end (I have flyeyes kit over them so they just look blacked out keeping it that way). Yeah the steps I got from Aero Kit - they also sell them on ebay but they are more expensive. Quote
yankeesiter Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Out of interest, what do the engine mods, exhaust, wheels and brakes add to your annual insurance premium? Quote
coldel Posted April 2, 2012 Author Posted April 2, 2012 Sorry only just seen the question - cant remember exactly but it was something like £20 here and there, nothing major. Quote
coldel Posted May 27, 2012 Author Posted May 27, 2012 A little update - H-Dev red grounding kit, and three cans of red spray paint! *aware engine bay needs a big clean up, its on the list Quote
tprice Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 where did u get those coloured bolts and washers that replace the standard 12mm bolts that are next to the headlights mate? 12mm head with an m6 thread, (is my guess from looking at the bolt on my engine bay earlier) they really make it look much better Quote
coldel Posted May 27, 2012 Author Posted May 27, 2012 ...Its a set I got from Tarmac - he advertised them recently Prior to that though I had some that I bought off ebay...there are a lot of them on there Quote
tprice Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 M8 thread sorry, the 10mm are the M6 thread. did the ones on ebay fit the 12mm bolt holes? Quote
coldel Posted June 22, 2012 Author Posted June 22, 2012 ...more red, although the iPhone tends to show the red carbon wrap looking a bit orange! ...and wheel nuts, just calipers to do and some new centre caps, when I have the cash Quote

tprice Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 very nice colour scheme mate! how easy is it to do as i wouldnt mind giving mine a go in black or dark grey! Quote
coldel Posted August 1, 2012 Author Posted August 1, 2012 Thanks to Ian for the tip on the bumper tuck, no drilling required, just removing the white plastic clips attached to the bumper bar and using the current bumper clips to run an M8 bolt through each one to secure it to the bumper bar using the holes that already exist there Anyway the final outcome looked like this... Wasso Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 All these last mods and she went, like the wind on a summers day After spending 2 days on your Zed I kinda got to know her.... Quote
