Aboutto take my exhaust apart to fit new y pipe, one the bots are off the back box what is best way to get the rubber mounts on and off?

Thought best check before I have half the box on my chest and unable to get the last mount off!!

Brute force and ignorance.

On a serious note - just wiggle the things till they slip off. Can sometimes take a bit off effort.

My god that was stubborn! It was the rubber mounts I was talking about, gave them lots of lube and lots of banging, pushing, shouting and swearing and finally got them off.

Time for some grub!

Thanks guys!

You must be referring to Jim and Graham, I was the master mechanic on the day.......:lol::lol:

And if memory serves me correctly, you were trying to get a wee bit too close under the car

I just took mine to a couple of grease monkeys to do
