rtbiscuit Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 i "fink" they are best left on ebay; but wheels are a personal choice if i was spending the money i'd be looking at 19"s Quote
BulletMagnet Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 Some members have had issues with DP Motorsport in the past, wrong tyre sizes, wrong offsets, customer aftercare not being really helpful at all etc. Quote
Ekona Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 Fugly, heavy, fugly, heavy. Fugly. Heavy. Quote
Sarnie Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 £369 for a full set?????? That alone is enough to put me off.................. Quote
liam42whu Posted January 16, 2011 Author Posted January 16, 2011 well thats popped my bubble , ugly is opinion, heavy dosnt really matter to me, i would race them, wrong tyre is where my concerns lay, ill have a think cheers guys Quote
Ekona Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 Heavy matters if you want your car to actually handle and be any good at TLGPs. Quote
BulletMagnet Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 I see, cos I could race my wheels too. Just take one wheel up a hill, kick it and then run after it and see if I beat it down the hill Quote
liam42whu Posted January 16, 2011 Author Posted January 16, 2011 yh wouldn't sorry, i did think prices was cheap therefore you get nasty, not always the case. Quote
liam42whu Posted January 16, 2011 Author Posted January 16, 2011 well i am sorry for my england, didnt realise this was a english test, so the opinions are final, these wheels are not worth it. Quote
BulletMagnet Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 You could buy TADDYs set of Finichis for £900... viewtopic.php?f=32&t=44615 Quote
liam42whu Posted January 16, 2011 Author Posted January 16, 2011 slightly out of my prices range really, although if i could i would. Quote
Sarnie Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 The price is perfectly reflective of the wheels imo.......cheap and nasty. Quote
rtbiscuit Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 The price is perfectly reflective of the wheels imo.......cheap and nasty. in the case of wheels you get what you pay for, fairly certain if you buy cheap you'll need to spend another 300 in the next 12 months to have them refurbed as the paint will blister; they probably need a full set of diving weights to balance them. i think someone else had them and had issues with spigot rings, so basically you had to drive under 70mph so that you didn't get tyre judder. if your budget is tight i'd be looking 2nd hand, or buy an tired pair and refurb them. Eraserhead Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 if there genuine wolfrace they have been going for years most young uns on here have proberly never heard of them, your first post said you fell in love with them right go for them Quote
Tarmac@TarmacSportz Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Hi Liam fitted that spacer yet ? With regards to the wheels, I had this brand on my Supra. They did blister quite bad tbh but I had them refurbed and they came up really well, as said you do get what u pay for but if u like them then go for it. If you have 2nd thoughts then save up and buy a nice shiney new set off me. Quote
liam42whu Posted January 22, 2011 Author Posted January 22, 2011 Cheers guys I think I may have to, as for the spacer not yet couldn't get home this weekend, I will do soonest. Quote
Blacky Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 I would say if you like them then go for it. Just do your research first. Personaly I dont like them but each to their own. Why buy wheels that need spacers? just get something that fits. Have to agree that if your going for looks and not worried about handling etc then why worry about what they weigh. Quote
ewan221 Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Some members have had issues with DP Motorsport in the past, wrong tyre sizes, wrong offsets, customer aftercare not being really helpful at all etc. They were also done for selling fake goods a few years back. The shop is only 5 mins form me and tbh has been fine for the odd bits I have bought from there. Quote
