top button on the trip comp cluster, little trick

hi guys,

 

just found a very silly little trick. if u have a bose unit (as it doesnt have a clock on the HU) and want to see the time on the trip cluster, u would have to cycle through until you find the clock.

 

however if you press and hold the top button of the two it takes you to the clock. press it again and it takes you back to the setting you had before.

It changes back automatically to what you were at before. I knew this as the first thing i do when i get a new car is read the manual

yeah it does, but i found this out when i had the bose fitted. but forgot to post it up.

TBH, when u have the speed displayed its a PITA to cycle through just to see the time. this was a good little trick i thought.

I found this by accident a few weeks ago too ...

 

never actually had to use it as I usually leave mine on the clock anyway ...

my only 'dislike' with my zed - no clock on the pod on imports - clock in the head unit. Changed my head unit to Alpine Ipod unit - NO CLOCK on there either!!!
