Tyre recommendations for wet cold weather

+5 for the RE050As as I found they had more feel in the wet than the MPS2s. MPS2s are better in the summer than the RE050As. The Toyo T1Rs are not a bad all round tyre but are not in the same performance bracket as the aforementioned, it feels like they have soft tyre walls.

Please do not get the RE040s or RE050s as they are ditch finders, the A bit is VERY important.

Are the Vredesteins any good for the winter?

I'm nearing the time for a new set of tyres and was thinking of getting re-shod with Vredesteins all round.....

i had the sessanta's on last winter and found them to be ok in the snow. your not going to be setting any lap records but there is just about enough traction to get you from a to b if you have to go out.

the zed will go on them, but winter tyres would be better.
