350z for sale. Opinions please

Hi All,

 

I'm still looking for my 350z and spotted this on autotrader.

The price seems pretty good although I must admit that I could give the "tan" seats a miss. Can you see any glaring faults/problems that I have overlooked. No mention of service history so would have to double check that.

That is a good price for a 313 - only thing that is missing is the service history.

 

I see the badges have been changed, otherwise it looks OEM.

At that price I would check that it is indeed a 313...someone's taken the time to z badge it - they may also have taken the time to put a bulge bonnet on

Looks ok but I think the 'Z' badge on the boot might be upside down (not that that should put you off from getting it!).

What about changing those seats. Do black seats come up for sale very often or do I just have to develop a taste for them?

Looks like a ruddy bargain but worth going over it carefully in case there's a good reason why.

 

Black seats don't come up very often but you might be able to persuede someone to do an interior swap (not me though!)

That's at the Infiniti dealer in Reading... I'm sure they wouldn't be selling a dodgy car without history!

Those seats were a £400 option so learn to love them

Looks good value,seats wont be a problem,sure your get a straight swap for black,if not sell them for about £400 & buy a pair of black,when i was looking i found loads of black 1's but very few burnt orange 1's.

The only other thing (apart from Service History) that it's missing is Bluetooth. Was Phone Prep an optional extra on these cars or do they all have it and I just have to buy a plug-in Bluetooth adapter (if missing)?

Yes just add a Bluetooth module. Get the dealer to throw one in, otherwise there's usually one or two for sale on the forum for £60+

Only bluetooth module required

The bluetooth module was standard in my07 so you might find it is stuck in its holder but no one has checked.

 

Price seems fair enough,seen a 08 sell for £13700 but it was a non gt.

If that is all straight with everything checking out i would snap that up, looks to me to be around 2-3k below what it should be

I spoke to the seller yesterday and somebody was looking at the car at 16:00. No doubt they will have snapped it up.

 

Unfortunately I am doing very long hours in work so couldn't even take a look at lunchtime although it was only 14 miles from my office.

 

Nevermind I don't mind paying an extra 2-3k for black leather seats

Hmm although I'm not looking until March, I did see this myself on Autotrader, why is it so cheap?? (I say cheap, under glass's guide prob right, but for selling private/trade its unbelievable). Check it out in detail, HPI etc. If it wasn't so much a hassell Id be training' it down there for it. Good luck!

 

(P.S. as a random note, my mate works for Nissan Arnold Clark, he says you wanna know how much a cars worth in the case of a dealer check glass's out or webuyanycar. 06 plate Z's with 25K and stuff are guided at £9K!! My mate also had one in his dealership, went to see it...not a GT so no... but they were selling at 13, they bought it in for 9...sold it for 12, but he said if id taken it he'd have put it down to 11 lol... just goes to show.. I Know my argument when I got to haggle )

It is worryingly cheap but you never know maybe they just need to shift it. WeBuyAnyCar gives a valution of £12k so there may be room to haggle even now. Going to try and get over there this evening bfore they shut.

Ar*e! Was going to go and look this morning but I got a fault sent to me that I had to resolve. By the time that I had fixed it the car was sold!!!! £2-3k that fault cost me!!!!
