  1. I almost bought a 2008 with sat-nav 6 months ago and it was just over 14k so I think that you are probably asking for far to much. Sorry.
  2. I just drove past your car on Wimborne Road.
  3. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201118386425687/usedcars?atcide=emgm3&logcode=emf Am I being dim? I though that all 313bhp cars had a hump in the bonnet?
  4. When is it? 24th July (Judas Priest @ BIC)
  5. Yes. I'm a big Queensryche fan as well so that should be as good one.
  6. I was there as well. So wet and horrible but the music was fantastic. I've just noticed that Saxon were playing in Bournemouth tonight and I missed it!!!! Gutted! I've been sitting at home bored because my kids are all out and the wife is in Spain.
  7. I've been rumbled. I was having trouble creating an account and chose Raymondo not expecting it to work! This is a fantastic looking car but a little above my budget.
  8. I find that my HTC Bluetooth disconnects when it comes into range of a wireless lan (May be limited to BT Openzone). This happens on all my cars (all 2 of them) so it's definitely a phone problem. It means that I have to turn off the wlan every time that I get in the car which is a bit of a pain.
  9. Just bought our second mac and it is a thing of beauty. Saved £150 buying a refubished one from the Apple website and IMHO it is a brand new machine. I've worked with PCs for 25 years and will never buy another one. I just don't need the b*ll ache. (and don't play games) I want a machine that turns itself on in 10 seconds, doesnt suffer from software rust (ie gets slower and slower despite rebuilds) and looks fantastic.
  10. That's a stunning looking motor! Tell you what I will buy it and you can have the FORD Capri 2.8i Special that they are selling
  11. Never mind CDs maybe we should be more concerned with the future of the audio cassette!!!!!
  12. Looks really nice. I wish that I has spotted it!
  13. You can't go wrong with Bournemouth. Actually I've never stayed in a hotel here but it's a nice place to live although a lot less sunny than Cuba.
  14. nissan dealer and warranty doesnt always mean piece of mind Yes that is why i put relative. BMW are exactly the same or maybe I am just very fussy. (and cheapskate )
  15. I wish that I could find one from a a main dealer at a reasonable price just for the (relative) peace of mind. This car has got the manufacturers warranty until March so hopefully if there is anything wrong with it I can get it sorted for free.
  16. it will also be the higher tax bracket so 450 a year in road tax It's a lot to pay for the hump in the bonnet and cup holders in the door.
  17. I also need to find out how much it will cost to add Bluetooth to his aftermarket stereo. It's a Pioneer double-din touch screen jobby. Can see the whole lot being 3k above my budget and it's not even the Gunmetal Grey that I wanted.
  18. There is at least £1k for 12 months & half decent tyres... Yes that's what I calculated. The seller has reduced his price on autotrader to £15k but I'm hoping for £14k-£14.5k and running on bald tyres for 6 months
  19. Hi guys, The search continues for my first Z. I am going to look at a March 2008 313GT coupe next week with 20k miles on the clock. Two owners and private sale. The question is "What would you pay for it?" It is currently 1.5k above my budget but I want to make the seller a reasonable offer as a fellow Z owner. FYI it needs taxing this month and also 4 new tyres.
  20. Another partial success!. The seller wouldn't drop below £14,300 despite the following 1. 2mm on back tyres, 3mm on front 2. brake pads and discs were knackered IMHO 3. P1 service due very soon I calculate that it needed about £1500 of work The good points were that the car is still under warranty and in very good condition apart from a bumper scuff and two small dents. There are 3 more people viewing the car at the weekend and the seller is confident of a sale. They will have to have deeper pockets than me.
  21. I actually looked at an 06 at Westover Nissan in Bournemouth earlier today. It was very nice but not a GT and did not have sat-nav. It did however have individual leather seats which were really nice and the wheels had been updated as well. 35k miles on the clock but they still wanted £14,695 for it.
  22. I'd prefer to get an 08 car as it would mean that I am not getting rid of my 08 BMW for something older. A bit hard to sell that to the misses! However I'd certainly consider a 57 plate or an 07 if one was available at the right price. I am also limited by wanting a factory fitted sat-nav as I believe that the Nurrish one cannot be fitted to MY06 and later cars. Am I correct in assumming that a car with 45k will need new pads and discs in the near future? (It's still on the originals) Or do they make Japanese brake discs out of something hard (metal perhaps?) that doesn't wear away as fast as the pads? BMW haven't work out how to do this yet.
