It is a sad day, I have to give up the Z. The need for 4 seats and somthing a little more economical has

forced me to change. i have traded in for a Merc 320 CDI Sport, i did not get as much as i would have liked for the Z but got a great deal on the Merc. What did hack me off was insulting offer from above. My Z is a UK spec GT Coupe 313 BHP model with 25000 miles on the clock and a full Nissan service history. I bought the car with 200 miles on the clock and it is immaculate. We buy any car.CON offered £12,995.00

Anyway thanks to all who have helped with the few questions I have posted, this is a great Forum and I wll still be visiting. Hopfully I will be in a position to buy a new Z in the future.

As for Webuyanycar they are the same as these Payday loan companies, just exploiting people who are desperate and in need of money right away, its a disgrace but they don't need to buy many cars to keep going at the prices they give! Its just an option instead of p/x but I cant see that what you lose to them you would possibly make up if you buy your next car for cash

I'm not sure what everyones problem is with them. They are in the business of making money from selling cars, they are NEVER going to give you the market value of any car, and probably less than traders. Their niche is obviously based on quick turn arounds for desperate sellers or people getting @*!# px quotes from dealers.

Whilst on the subject of Carcrap - never ever ever ever buy from those scumbags! I used to work round the corner from one of their places and also went round their main location in Rochdale when they started - all cars withouf fail had bangs, dints and scratches on them its like they were all damaged stock! Then there is the high pressure herding sheep selling tactics and ludicrous APR payments!

Ive sold three cars to them now, all three of which I was offered a lower trade in/sale price from dealers than I got from WBAC. One was an S2K with a noisy clutch that I would have had to fix to sell privately, another was an MR2 that had dents on it that would have needed to be sorted along with a few other bits too. In both cases, I drove up, and 15 mins later walked out with the money - whats wrong with that??

 

If youve got a pre 02 car, or your is immaculate with low mileage then of course you arent going to get the price you would selling privately, but if the car isnt perfect, particularly mechanically or you need a quick sale they are a bloody good option.

 

That said, the advert does make me want to kill people.

I sold my MG ZR to them and got £700 more than the p/x price, not as much as I would have got privatley probably but no cost to me, no dodgy emails for the scammers on autotrader and all done same weekend no hanging around waiting for the phone to ring.

 

I agree its not great but it does what it says on the tin!

 

Thinking of selling the Z and they offered £9k, just walk away if its a bad price must be worth £13k on a private sale.
