Bumper re-spray price???

Afternoon All!

 

Just a quick question. Getting the bumper re-sprayed on my zed and be quoted £275 for the whole front bumper. No idea if that’s a reasonable price or not so thought I would see what you lot think???

I was quoted £190 by my local bodyshop ( they have done a few bits & pieces for me in the past )

Depends where abouts you are, i find that the prices south east are 10-12%~ more than say Midlands/North -

 

£250-280 is about the norm that i would pay - I remember paying around £260 for a full bumper respray + fitting a front lip for my focus.

I reckon that sounds a little high but again I think it depends on where you live and sometimes if you have a past relationship with the garage.

£250ish for a good job. I had a cheap job done on my last car and there was overspray everywhere.

Thanks for the quick replies guys. You have set my mind at ease a bit lol. I initially thought it was a little high the price too, but like you say if it’s a good job it’s worth it. Sprayer said he was going to take whole bumper off to do it, and also offered to touch up two car park scratches (very minor) on the door.

Try living IN London, it would probably be cheaper for me to buy another Z with a better bumper, swap them over then scrap it

Had my NISMO bodykit fitted and painted by him..good colour match as it can be PITA matching the gunmetal silver. Good price and top bloke Mike

I got quoted £120 for my front bumper but that was by a friends garage..

Full resprays are in the reigon of 2.5k to 4k...

150 a panel for me and im in London, although i bring them a fair amount of work and im a semi-friend of theirs!

I was quoted by nissan down in the southwest £230 for a fully front bumper spray incl removal and refiitting the bumper which i thought was quiet a resonable price from a dealer! But again it varys from where u live in the uk! Hope u manage to find a good price!
