Most of my cars have been jap cars, ive never owned a german one but.........

I think their latest crop are absolutely beautiful, in particular the 635 and Z4..

Is it me or are BMs designers earning their money big style.

Dont get me wrong I love my Z and I aint selling it, but as a car lover you have to appreciate other motors

Whats everyone elses opinions ?????

I don't like the 3 series saloon or convertible. I do like the coupe though.

The rest of the range is great. Really like the 5 saloon and 6 series.

The X6 and that 5 series sport tourer thing are absolutely crap. Possibly the two ugliest cars on the market!

im a huge bmw fan, love the controversial stuff like the x6 and 6 series are gorgeous, have consider a 6 as a zed replacement. like the family cars as well and love how BMs drive but i drove the new z4 and was really disappointed, nowhere near the 350 nevermind the 370

but they need a rival to the merc SL, bring on the Z9!

:yuck: No way...! Until they get all the chris bangle influences out of thier lineup im staying well away!! They're all hideous with the exception of the outgoing 5-series.

The X6 is ok i guess, but i dont think it has anywhere near the same appeal as a Range Rover Sport.

The e46 shape was the last of the hot bmw's... IMHO.

I've always like the 6 series BMW. The garage I got mine from are Hamann UK dealers and they had a couple in their showroom that had been given the Hamann treatment. Very very nice looking!

I wasn't too keen on the new Z4 from the advert, but after seeing a couple of them in the flesh they are starting to grow on me. One of my other guilty pleasures is the X6

I think what Bangle has achieved is to really polarise opinion on the recent BMW designs - as shown in this thread. Prior to that the cars were safe and you either liked them or were ambivalent towards them.

I love the 6, Z4 (both gens), 3 Coupe and X5 but I hate the X3, 1 series, 7 series (previous gen) and new 5 GT.

At least he could never have been accused of playing it safe in his time at Munich,,,
