Pimm Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 I changed my indicator bulbs for the silver ones but that orange reflector on the front lights annoy me. I came up with this but i am not sure if it looks good or tacky From the front i do like the look and closer to the car it looks good imo, but at the last picture where you are standing closer to the car ie looking down i am not so sure. I have spent a few hours thinking about this and now i am stuck. What do you think ??? THE ONES ON THE CAR ARE ONLY TEST ONES AND I WOULD GET THEM DONE PROPERLY. Quote
sunset350z Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 How about painting it the same colour as the car. Quote
3FIDDYZ Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Different.... Prefere the way that Dan has done his now though! Would need to see in the flesh though! Quote
chrisjones6699 Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Apologies but not a fan black is looking a bit tacky, i agree that the same colour as the body would look better. Quote
tmJak Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 I'm undecided, have you got a picture from further away? How about just blacking out your reflector strip? Quote

Sarnie Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Looks decent from the front but not the side. I think making it blue would change the shape of the bonnet outline a bit like eyelids.......... Quote
rtbiscuit Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 there are some headlight eyebrows around somewhere that go around the whole headlight, not just to one side, might be a better option. as for the black from the front looks ok, but from the top/side it looks odd, i'd go for blacking out just the reflector Quote
BulletMagnet Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Just replace the orange strip with a clear one, will involve opening the lights I think...could be wrong Quote
IanS16 Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 As the others have said, looks great from the front but not the sides Quote
M350ZB Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 As the others have said, looks great from the front but not the sides +1, what about getting in touch with Paul, or if not the light eye brow set or cover Quote
Pimm Posted June 25, 2009 Author Posted June 25, 2009 Just replace the orange strip with a clear one, will involve opening the lights I think...could be wrong This is another option but i did not want to break the seal on the headlight to get to the reflector. A may pm paul and see what he says. Quote

There are a few members on here that have that problem. Quote
