jo28sx Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Hi guys I recently put new alloys on my Zed and the traction control is kicking in nearly all the time. I called Nissan and they said theres nothen i can do except turn off the traction control but dont want to do that, it was 17" wheels on as standard and now i've only went up to 18". Has anyone else had this problem and does anyone know of a way to solve my problem? Thanks lads Jo28sx Quote
JT1703 Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 What size of tyres are you running on the 18's ? Quote
Chris`I Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 +1 as above +2 need more details. Its quite common for people to select the wrong tyre sizes when fitting them up to a Zed. There is a different radius of tyre from front to rear and some people dont know that. Quote

jo28sx Posted May 13, 2009 Author Posted May 13, 2009 the front is 235/40/18 on the front and 265/35/18 on the rear, how does that sound? Quote
Ekona Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 You're 2% undersized on the front and 5% undersized on the back. Switch to the stock 225/45/18F and 245/45/18R and it should sort itself out nicely. Quote
