Under car Exhaust/Y pipe Protection plate?

Just wondered if there is any sort of exhaust protection plate that bolts on underneath the car to protect the exhaust/y pipe.

something like this http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showthrea ... adid=22620

I keep scraping the flexipipe and ripping holes into it.

If not, may be an idea for a fabricator. CS maybe?

(and no im not-unlowering my car and I cant avoid speed bumps as they are on every road outside my flat)

These are very easy to knock up guys using sheet aluminium.

The flexy part of the Y pipe is normally the lowest underbody part of the Zed.

If there is enough interest say (20) then I can easily fabricate them, but I could not make a start until mid March.

I run with one on the Roadster and it works very well.

Cost would be around £125 + shipping.

Alex.

I'd be up for one Alex.

Y pipe repair cost me £130 so if it stops it happening again its paid for itself!

Glad some people agree that its a good idea - though i might get laughed at! :teeth:

Oh, and Mid March is fine for me :)

You ever going to bring the Roadster on a meet Alex? Would love to see it
