IanS16 Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 I'd go with the Varis carbon bonnets to be honest. Much better fit from what Ive experienced (still appreciated it though Mart ) Quote
Ian Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 I'd go with the Varis carbon bonnets to be honest. Much better fit from what Ive experienced (still appreciated it though Mart ) The difference in price shows that though Quote
martinmac Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 I have a Varis and they are good, a lot more expensive though. Quote
Chris`I Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 I have a Varis and they are good, a lot more expensive though. But well worth it in my experience. Seeing Adrian having to trim his CF lips nearly brought a tear to my eye. When I was sold my Varis lip, I was told if it didnt fit by just offering it up to the car, I would get my money back. Thats the quality of the stuff, well worth it if you can afford it Quote
mwalker56 Posted February 9, 2009 Author Posted February 9, 2009 Yes Ian, it's all your fault! No bonnet bulge on pauls, but perhaps for the right price i could be persuaded... Quote
M13KYF Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 we have forum discount with Seibon http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10107 Quote

Gaz Walker Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Some Pic's of the Varis bonnet here on my car: http://www.envyperformance.com/picasa/350ZShoot/index.html Night and day difference in Quality between the Varis product and the Seibon item. The Varis bonnet comes with rain guards and the fit and finish are perfect! Thanks Kevin Quote
Adam@Z1auto.com Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 if the Seibon is what you're after, I'd pick up Paul's - at least you know if fits. Better than finding out the hard way that the TS you got doesn't fit well (ask me how I know!). It's literally a 50/50 chance it will, won't fit. The Varis is in another league altogether, and a much nicer part Other good fitting units are Top Secret, C West, MCR, and ASM Quote
mwalker56 Posted February 12, 2009 Author Posted February 12, 2009 Thanks for the advice guys, I have taken paul up on his offer, looks like I'm going to have to paint my z green! Pics to follow once fitted and resprayed. Quote
Zedrush Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 I'd go with the Varis carbon bonnets to be honest. Much better fit from what Ive experienced (still appreciated it though Mart ) +1 or get P15ults one, when I fitted mine was a bloody nightmare Quote
mwalker56 Posted April 20, 2009 Author Posted April 20, 2009 Just to comlete the thread... i did end up buying Pauls bonnet, had to make some minor alterations to the bonnet hinge mounting holes to get a better fit, but am v happy with the result. Thanks Paul! Here's a couple of pics: (Sorry mods, they have been posted before!) Quote
