Lexx
What year? The MY07 car is already at 309bhp.
rtbiscuit
from what i can tell, your options are turbo, or new ecu/piggyback. neither from what i've heard are cheap. i've seen a rotrex supercharger kit with everything you need excluding fitting for about £5200. i think the PE turbo system excluding fitting is about £5000 a new ECU something like haltech i'm not sure
Sarnie
hi sorry to bother you all but what is needed to get my uk spec z upto around the 320 bhp mark. cheers chris congratulations, your the winner of: The Day's Vaguest Threads Award
Trev-the-Rev
On a more sensible note (Sarnie ) the problem you have with the Zed is that any modifications are cancelled out by the ECU unless you go for a piggyback. So even a modest power increase can cost big bucks.
Chris`I
What you will quickly learn from here is that the 350z engine is designed to produce the power it does. In N/A form there is very little to be had, even with a piggy back ECU controlling everything. Getting some forced induction will get you to about 400BHP for about £5-6K. More than that and you'll need very very deep pockets indeed. Also to get 320WHP you need equally deep pockets.

M13KYF
for the amount of money he's gonna spend to get near that mark you'd be better off going up to nearer the 400bhp with a supercharger or turbo from around 6K, If staying NA route then check out Adams Z from Z1 http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... hlight=car

Adam@Z1auto.com
there are certainly gains to be had, albeit of course with a price tag forced induction is the more cost effective means, but it also introduces a level of complexity going the naturally aspirated route is more about incremental gains than a mammoth % increase but again, if resources are focused in the right areas, there are generous power increases to be had
