Pingu2
jeez, my bid was way over then! If it goes for those figures I wish I was in the market for a zed! well it certainly won't go for over 15 grand - I believe there is something called "a recession"

Iddingtons
I'd like to think it'll go for over 13k...but thats mostly as I'm auctioning mine tomorrow and would like at least 11k for it If the car has any kind of reserve, unless its low my bet is that it won't sell....tomorrow will be an interesting day
Pingu2
really not a good time of year to sell a convertible!
Leeroy
I don't think it'll make 10 grand. £9,500. Don't be surprised if it's not there, I've gone along a few times with a view to bidding on a car that doesn't roll out
Sarnie
Do you have to be in the trade to go to auctions?
lomoto
£7000 would be a good price. , but I bet it wont reach it's reserve or the auctioneer will be taking bids of the wall
Leeroy
Do you have to be in the trade to go to auctions? No, you don't. Just need to register before you bid and you're away. Carried away sometimes There's usually a surprising amount of nice metal that goes through, it's not unusual to see Astons, Porsches etc. When I bought my car a year ago at auction a 2 year old 5 series went though for £12K Of course you have to accept that the history is pretty unknown, the best bets are ex lease cars which have usually had all services etc on the button
Shuck
£11500. I'll be the guy in the long rain coat, sunglasses and black baseball cap bidding................
hotrain69
sorry if this is a stupid question but how often do these car auctions happen and where?
GlenMH
£7000 would be a good price. , but I bet it wont reach it's reserve or the auctioneer will be taking bids of the wall I would guess down at this level too....
NWZ
This is the Queensferry car auction which is quiet small compared to BCA's hughe outfits in the UK. They do tend to have quiet a lot of ex fleets going through (especially from Shell). Usually, beemers & audis, say 3 years old. The zed is quiet rare, let's see what happens. Here's the link to the auction list:- http://66.139.73.80/telford/queensferry.aspx The zed is still on there.
