Adrian@TORQEN
I'd say it's pretty safe, use the credit card, you're covered.
Keith D
Fitted the Tesla style screen today, a quick but fun mod and glad to see the back of the atrocious OEM media

Keith D
Took the car to Horsham for a remap today. Very pleased with the result, my bum dyno says the car feels sharper and more on it, and the torque I felt it had lost from fitting the HFCs is back. Obviously the max hp figures are a bit meaningless, but have included below anyway. I am led to understand a stock 370z on a dyno dynamics is around 240 whp give or take; so the HFCs, Invidia and MegaFlow panel filters plus the tune have added about +40 hp over standard which would put it somewhere around 370-380 hp. Seems about right. Edited March 27 by Keith D
The Bounty Bar Kid
Not necessarily, we need more information to properly ascertain how much bhp you've gained. Part of Dyno sheet looks missing. Ok only comparing to what mine was from Abbey. What's the measured increase from the mapping (at the hubs)?
The Bounty Bar Kid
More like 350hp ish
Keith D
You mean this? Dyno's vary by type and even individual machine configuration / calibration, how well its been maintained, and operator error. 290 on a dyno jet might be 240 on a dyno dynamics, 300 on a dyno pack, or 230 on a superflow and so on. It's at best a guide. The only guaranteed data point is the manufacturers published hp start point when it left the factory. Anyway arguing hp numbers on a forum is as old as time, I know what I have and I'm happy with it for now 😁 Edited March 28 by Keith D
ShortPaul
I was informed at Horsham that cars that are NA usually have less bhp than what is stated from factory, and most turbocharged cars from factory quite often have more bhp than the figures that stated from factory, false advertising in my eyes 😞
davey_83
Very nice that is, revs out lovely Edited March 28 by davey_83
Keith D
The standard auto shifter and the big round plasticky base is the ugliest piece of crap, I reckon the designer was wasted on saki when he drew it. It offends me. 🤣 I've been playing with an auto to manual knob adaptor, and some hand made bits from a small online shop in New Zealand. Not sure what I think. Looks like it's trying too hard to look like a manual maybe. Have ordered a GTR knob to try next. And thinking I should get my seats recovered in red leather... 🤔 Edited 15 hours ago by Keith D
Andy_Muxlow
It looks good to me, but as you say trying to look like a manual. But it looks good to me.
GranTurismoEra
Seats red side bolsters and black alcantara. Or recaro nismo style seats red alcantara black bolsters. Then Nismo alcantara kneepads hard to find or retrim current kneepads red alcantara. Can get the alcantara and retrim the kneepads. So you get red bits but not all red everywhere. Contrasted like the steering wheel Edited 5 hours ago by GranTurismoEra

Contrasted like the steering wheel I've thought about throwing in a pair of aftermarket reclining buckets, but I like the standard seat, it has no clearance problem with tilting back, head rest isn't designed for use with a helmet not a head, has elec adjustment and heater. I'm not tracking the car, and it's a while since I got in 38 jeans 🤣 Like your idea of red bolsters black alacantra centre panel retrim and matching retrimmed kneepads. Can retrim door cards at the same time. You hit the nail on the head yes I'm trying to tie it all into the wheel. GranTurismoEra
The difference was i found myself sitting higher in the GT to the Nismo a bit different. But the seats were like you say electric and comfortable. Sounds like a plan. Also you could even trim it alcantara and leave the front bit of the seat base red leather if the centers going to be black alcantara Similar colour scheme to some of the new Z interiors with red and black.
